Pros And Cons: Great asset to my game, improved my confidence knowing the exact distsnces. Cons: none really, I have turned the power down to 30 seconds is now fine. •
Customer Service: Excellent, very helpfull people. •
Would You Recommend To A Friend: I have already, am now a bit envious as my pal now has the latest 700 model. •

I have a pretty good idea how far I hit shots generally but now with the 'practic facility' I can fine tune my game a bit more. I always try to download the course I want to play as I find my Shotmiser is a great tool and would not be so confident on strange courses without it. We go to some courses and the distances appear different visually to what you may think from the card, putting doubt in your mind, it is then reasuring to know you can rely on the 'Shotmiser'

Response: Hello Mr Williams, I believe you have the Shotmiser G300 unit from several years ago, looking at our records. The newer models, do have the belt clip attachments as part of the package. If you\'d be interested in trading your G300 in against a new model, please contact sales@shotmiser.com

Con\'s open the file once down loaded onto your machine as the course file on it\'s very first load needs to generate some additional data, tee points, etc. Otherwise can be a bit slow if you open it first time on the tee.
Pro\'s brill piece if kit, clear, accurate, changes your way of playing, and which club to use, well worth the money over other GPS, don\'t play without it now.

Pros And Cons: Pros: Easy to use, great on strange courses. Cons: as stated by others sometimes locks onto parallel holes or doesn't move on to next hole •
Customer Service: Excellent, arrived one day after ordering and when I had a problem with the trolley cradle it was replaced immediately with no hassle •
Would You Recommend To A Friend: Definitely, infact a few of my friends are thinking of getting one already •

Super piece of golf kit, best investment I've made since the 2-ball putter! Very easy to download courses and as I got it with 100 free downloads and with no yearly fees it really is exceptional value. I find it gives great confidence knowing the exact yardage (especially to the back of the greens) as you know you're not going to go long (if you hit it right!!)The overview on strange courses is especially useful and the way-points feature is invaluable. I would recommend this to anyone.

I have enjoyed using my G500 and it is definitely helping with club selection. My one concern is that the battery seems to run down quite quickly - I would estimate that I will struggle to get more than 27 holes of play from it.

Response: Hello Peter, have you set the power setting on your Shotmiser Golf GPS G700 device so that the back light dims after 30 seconds? This will save a lot on battery power. You should be ideally getting 36 holes out of the one charge. Any problems please contact us. Kindest Regards, The Shotmiser Team

I dipped my toe in the water of Golf GPS systems with a caddylite but soon found that a little limiting. I did a lot of research online before deciding to go with the G500 and I haven\'t been disappointed.

It\'s so easy to use straight out of the box and cannot fault the build quality. It really does have a premium feel. I\'ve used the unit on my club course and a couple of unfamiliar courses and it is simply a joy. The point to point measuring makes club selection so much easier and haven\'t found myself distracted by the unit itself at all. It has integrated into my round so quickly I can\'t believe I\'ve only had it a few weeks.

There is only one minor con for me and that\'s the battery life. It would have been wonderful if the battery would last for 2 rounds, for me it dies after around 27 holes.

The trolley clip is quality too. Really happy with the purchase and cannot recommend it enough!
